The Colossal Optimus Prime Bust
Yexel's Toy Museum is a private toy collection of Yexel Sebastian. It's a residential house turned into a museum, a paradise for children and children at heart. The life size replicas of cartoon characters were personally made by Yexel and the gang. There were various display cabinets for cartoon & video game characters, and some puzzle games. The house was small and jam packed, I wish they will have a mansion to properly arrange their spectacular displays. During our visit I had a hard time taking photos because of the crammed area, all those great shot I was not able to take because of real estate limitations.
Here are the directions on how to get to Yexel's Toy Museum by public transport:
The facade of the museum is colorful and easy to spot from the residential village. There's an entrance fee of 300.00 php per person, but I guarantee you the fee is worth the childhood throwback you'll get! Yexel's Museum is composed of 3 floors.

- From the intersection near Coastal Mall, we rode a bus going to SM Southmall. Here is the area where we were able to take the bus.

- Touchdown SM Southmall, we passed thru the mall and the parking lot to arrive at the entrance Pilar Village. From there, the museum is just 100 meters away. Here is the path going to Yexel's from where we alighted the bus.

Superman
- 1st Floor: The floor is decorated mostly with cartoon and anime characters, there were plenty of iconic video game characters too. I really applaud Yexel and the his team for creating the life size versions of their toys. Our group saw a buzz lightyear still under contruction in their workshop, I'll not include that photo because it might be a trade secret on how they make those. There were some displays that were transferred to another museum at Parañaque, this was according to the staff. A huge Lightning Mcqueen was also in display at the garrage of the museum.

- 2nd Floor: Just after we climbed the stairs I heard the very familiar background music of Super Mario! I felt nostalgic after seeing Mario characters along with its rythmic music, these toys and video games where a big part of my life. I'm a geek during elementary and highschool years, playing games and watching cartoons were the bulk of my life cycle. Accross the Mario characters were the gang of Street Fighters, the first thing that came to my mind? "HADOUKEN!". The last area of the 2nd Floor was the room full of busts of famous comic characters and Hollywood Movies collectibles. My favorite was the Lord of the Rings collection.

The most famous plumber in the world
The Bust room, one of my favorite area in the museum

- 3rd Floor: Most of the 3rd Floor was dedicated to Star Wars Series (with matching background music "tan tanananan - tan tanananan", it made me feel like floating in the outer space. Haha), there was also a space for Alien vs. Predators (my brother's favorite hunter). I thought the 2nd and 3rd Floor was a bit small until I turned at the last corner of the 3rd Floor and saw the monumental bust of Optimus Prime! It made my jaw locked in an awkward position for around 2.63 seconds. We spent a few minutes mesmerizing the Autobot before our photo ops. There were also a few life size models of DC and Marvel Comics characters on display.

I highly recommend Yexel's Toy Museum to everyone, I know there's still a child in everybody's hearts. You'll find the place relaxing and reminiscing childhood memories is always a pleasant feeling. I guess playing and being carefree has always been the character of children, and that's what I felt on my visit. The place is a nice short stop-over for family & "barkada" bonding.
